In-class activities Record once, score every run

Stop watching the same activity over and over.

Run the activity anywhere you can record a conversation: the classroom, the sim lab, the skills lab, a role play between classmates, or on the unit. Record each run, get it scored against one rubric, and spend your time on the moments that need a faculty member. Built by nursing faculty, for nursing faculty.

01 The problem

You run it once. Then you run it again.

The activity is the same. The groups aren't. Section A on Monday, section B on Tuesday, a make-up on Friday. Each run needs a grade, and the grade needs someone who watched.

So faculty sit in on every run, or take the recordings home. By the tenth group, the rubric in your head has drifted from the one you started with, and students hear back whenever you get to them.

NurseKind AI scores each run against the same rubric and points you to the moments worth your time. You still make the call.

02 How it works

Run it the way you already do.

01

Run the activity

Pick the scenario or the skill. Students do it in class, in a lab, or on the unit, exactly as you run it today.

02

Record it

Record a group of up to 8 on one scenario, or one student at a time. Already filmed it? Upload the audio (up to 60 minutes) or the video (up to 40 minutes, Complete plan).

03

Get it scored

The conversation is transcribed, the speakers are separated, and it is scored against your rubric in under a minute. Video adds the observed behaviors, with time ranges.

04

Review what matters

Open the flagged moments. Adjust the overall score, with a reason, if you disagree. Students get feedback on what worked and what to try instead.

03 Ways to run it

Pick the one that matches the activity.

03.1

A group working one scenario

Up to 8 students work a patient scenario while you record. The group gets one shared score on the same rubric every other group gets. Pick participants from your roster or leave them anonymous. Rostered students see the result in their own account. How group assessment works.

Group assessment
03.2

One student performing a skill

Tick the skill, upload one student's video, and get each step with time ranges to check. Critical steps come first. It is advisory: no score, no pass or fail. How the skills check works.

Complete plan
03.3

A recording you already have

If your lab already films the activity, upload the file. It is graded the same way as a live recording, with your rubric.

Upload
03.4

Rehearsal before the graded run

Students can talk to an AI patient before they ever record for a grade. Practice is formative. It does not go in the record.

Practice
04 What stays with you

It does the first pass. The call is yours.

A group recording gets one shared score, not one per student. If you need an individual score, record that student on their own.

The skills check covers one student per recording and never passes or fails anyone. The observed behaviors on video are evidence for your review and do not change the score.

The debrief is yours too. The time-stamped moments give you something specific to point at.

We have not measured how many hours this saves, so we do not put a number on it. We are studying it and will publish the results.
