Delete Your Account

In the app (fastest, if you have no course records)

Signed in on iOS or Android? Go to Account → Delete my account. You'll confirm your password and type "DELETE" to proceed — this immediately and permanently deletes your assessments, practice sessions, and login. It cannot be undone.

This self-service option only works for an account with no course enrollment or assessment history — for example, one you signed up for but never used with a program. If you've completed any coursework, your institution is the record holder for that academic data under FERPA, so deletion goes through them instead; see "By request" below.

Have course enrollment or assessment history, don't have the app installed, or would rather have a person confirm what applies to your account first? Contact your institution's administrator, who can delete your records on your behalf, or email us and we'll route the request appropriately.

What gets deleted

• Your login credentials — you will no longer be able to sign in.
• Your assessments, practice session recordings and AI feedback.
• Your name and email address.

What your institution retains

NurseKind AI is provisioned by nursing programs and hospitals, several of which have regulatory or accreditation obligations to retain certain compliance and access records (for example, HIPAA §164.312(b) requires six years of audit-log retention). Those records are kept as required, but once your account is deleted they no longer show your name or email — only an anonymized reference remains.
